Moore jurors still deadlocked
Judge orders them to return to deliberations
Jurors were still deadlocked Tuesday morning in the retrial of Daniel Wade Moore.
The jury in the capital murder case came out at about 11 and told Morgan County Circuit Court Judge Steve Haddock they were deadlocked at the same point as they had been Monday morning.
As he did Monday, Haddock told jurors to return to deliberations. He said if there has to be a third trial, it will diminish fairness to both sides.
Moore, 34, is on trial for the second time in the March 12, 1999, stabbing death of Karen Croft Tipton in her Southwest Decatur home.
