George opposed establishment, stood up for good of county

To The Daily: Why was Stacy George defeated in his bid for re-election to the Morgan County Commission? Simple: because he stepped on too many toes, which incidentally, was the correct thing for him and others to have done.

Several little minds, if they have one at all, decry Mr. George’s tenure as negative and trite. This is far from the truth. Mr. George did exactly what was good, right and in the best interests of Morgan County. I daresay everything, and I do mean everything, that ever made the media was, in fact, his attempt to expose and correct the rotten politics that hold Morgan County in its “good ol’ boy” grasp. And that is precisely expressed by the little selfish minds that turned him out of office.

Stacy George represents that which is good, proper and right for the people of Morgan County, not just the politically correct, selfish “good ol’ boy” regime and those little selfish minds who support them. People, open your eyes. Look for the truth. It is so obviously there but also so obviously ignored for selfish personal gain — secondhand as well as firsthand.
